What are the legal requirements for Visitor systems?

The Owner or Manager of a business has a responsibility to ensure the safety and protect the privacy of all visitors at all times. During an emergency the said Owner or Manager must be able to report to the attending emergency services that all staff and visitors have been accounted for.

The Kalamazoo Visitor Pass system assists in this regard in that a record is in place of every visitor to the facility.

Where did the name Kalamazoo come from?

In the town of Kalamazoo Michigan during 1904, two English printers from Birmingham England discovered a “loose leaf binder” a ledger book into which forms could be added and then removed, They bought the rights to this product and began printing the pages to go into these books. They changed the name of the business to Kalamazoo.

Can I purchase traditional Kalamazoo products as supplied from other Kalamazoo offices worldwide?

Yes, generally the products are the same, the sizes and colours of some forms may differ but we should be able to accommodate your needs.

In this Modern era, Is Kalamazoo using the latest technology?

Kalamazoo has the latest computer systems and networks available, and makes extensive use of “straight through processing” from our ERP platform.

Yes, Kalamazoo New Zealand is totally Kiwi owned and operated. The Owner and managing director of the company is Steve D’Souza. The company is not a franchise or an arm of any overseas company, neither does it remit any earnings overseas.

Kalamazoo is a member of Printing Industries, The EMA and Kalamazoo is also ISO 9001 certified.
